The role:
A role dedicated to crafting quality coffee while creating thoughtful, welcoming experiences that make each guest feel genuinely cared for. A hands-on opportunity to be part of a hospitality-driven team where attention to detail, consistency, and small moments of service matter.
A day in the life:
No two days are exactly the same, but here is a sample day of the Operations Coordinator:
6:30 AM | The Setup: You meet the van at a local event. You aren’t just helping—you’re the steward of our mobile workspace. You ensure the van is staged, the beans are dialed in, and we have exactly enough oat milk because you’ve mastered the inventory list.
7:30 AM | The Rush: The line is growing, but you’re in your element. You’re leading the flow, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and every espresso drink meets our high standards. You see the small moments others might miss.
10:00 AM | The Logistics: Service is wrapping up. You’re already thinking ahead, managing the breakdown and noting any supplies that need restocking before the next event. You’re the owner of our readiness.
11:00 AM | The Brand: Back at home base, you switch gears to growth & fulfillment. You spend an hour expertly packaging online orders—ensuring they are labeled and shipped with the kind of care that makes our customers smile when they open the box.
Wrap Up: You check in with the owner on operational projects for next week’s private catering. You’ve got the details staged and ready for success.
You’ll thrive here if:
- You are genuinely kind. You lead with empathy and take pride in creating thoughtful, welcoming experiences that make people feel cared for.
- You take initiative. You don’t wait to be told what to do—you notice what needs attention, from service flow to supplies, and take action.
- You think in systems. You naturally look for ways to make things run more smoothly, whether that’s improving organization, prep, or workflow.
- You are organized and detail oriented. You keep track of moving parts, stay ahead of needs, and take pride in maintaining an efficient, well-run environment.
- You are adaptable and resilient. Mobile coffee has a lot of moving parts. You stay calm, flexible, and solutions-focused when plans shift or things get busy.
- You take ownership. You treat the van and operations with care, following through on responsibilities and helping ensure everything is ready for service.
Logistics:
Type: Part-Time. We need someone with a flexible schedule to support our shifting event calendar (mostly mornings and weekends).
Physicality: You’re comfortable on your feet in a mobile environment and can lift up to 50 lbs (those coolers aren't light!).
Travel: This is mix of a mobile role and work at our commissary. We have events all over the South Shore, so you’ll need reliable transportation and a love for a change of scenery. Our commissary is located in West Bridgewater.
Experience: Background in F&B or hospitality is preferred, specifically in roles that require balancing logistics with guest service. We’re looking for a proactive team member who is naturally organized and can manage a wide range of details with a steady, easy-going temperament. You don't just follow the workflow—you help improve it.
What you’ll get from us:
Competitive Pay: We value your organizational brain and your hard work, and we pay accordingly. Pay starts at $20/hour.
Coffee: Shift drinks are on the house (obviously).
Professional Growth: This isn’t just a gig. You’ll work directly with the owner, gaining an inside look at how to build and scale a boutique mobile brand.
Daily Laughter: We take our beans seriously—but ourselves? Not so much. We’re looking for a partner who finds fun in the hustle and loves the unique energy of a local shop. If you can handle a rush with a smile and a quick wit, we want to meet you.
A Culture of Kindness: Kindness is our baseline, not an afterthought. You’ll be part of a business that protects our culture of respect, where we show up for our customers—and each other—with our whole selves.
